Give your "Hart" this February!

This February give the gift of love to a good cause. Bella Zadore is supporting our February Goddess, Irena Hart and her foundation Harmony 4 Kidz. Harmony 4 Kidz is dedicated to becoming a leading organization that transforms the lives of homeless and needy children by providing shelters, educational and developmental programs.

On February 6, Irena Hart, Harmony 4 Kidz and the Westport Historical Society will be hosting a benefit concert at the Westport Town Hall featuring local and nationally recognized artists. Irena Hart a rising pop artist will be performing the song that sparked the Harmony 4 Kidz movement, “Save the World.”

Tickets are $25 and are available for purchase in advance or at the door from the Westport Historical Society (203.222.1424). Kids under 12 are admitted for free. Youth ages 8 – 18 are encouraged to participate and submit their ideas on “How to Save the World,” winners of the contest are selected to receive various prizes. There will be a silent auction and giveaways. Proceeds will be used to fund scholarships for music and art camps, schools and colleges including scholarships to Landmark Education.

Halloween Madness!

It's fall and it's October. That means Halloween. I just wanted to wish everyone a thrilling, chilling, exciting and candy laden HALLOWEEN!

Here's what the girls and I are doing next week.

We decided to head to New York and be part of the family friendly "The Great Pumpkin Sail." This event takes place at Central Park. You bring your own personally carved pumpkin and candles and then send him on his merry way on a raft. Can you imagine dozens of pumpkins going for a sail all at once. How cute!

Then, we're going to leave the kiddies behind and return to the city of lights for a thriller, chiller "Steampunk Haunted House" at the century old Abrons Art Center. In order to enjoy this extravaganza of beautiful horror its just $20.

Remember no one under 8 years old is allowed admission. If you're tired of the same old Snicker, Baby Ruth trick or treat routine. Take an adventure and try some new activities. Happy Halloween!
